Introducing our dedicated Sustainability Project Mentors and Staff, who are committed to guiding you through innovative and impactful sustainability initiatives. With their expertise and passion, they empower individuals and organizations make meaningful environmental changes.
30 youth participants (ages 14–17)

Program Duration
6 Saturdays (Beginning in September)
Weekly Structure
- Saturdays: Expert-led workshops, teamwork, mentorship, presentations, and end-of-day review (2 hours total)
Core Focus Areas
The Global Youth Virtual Sustainability Program is on a to tackle some of the most exciting challenges out there! We dive into Recycling and Plastic Waste Management, highlighting the incredible impact of waste reduction and sustainability. Our focus Infrastructure & Environmental Resilience, Sustainable Agriculture and Clean Energy, the Sargassum Seaweed Crisis in Barbados, and Land Preservation and Cocoa Farming showcases our passion for creating a greener future. By engaging young minds in these vital areas, we aim to inspire innovative solutions and empower the next generation of environmental champions!
Weekly Themes
Week 1
Week 1: Welcome, Introductions, Program Syllabus, Expectations, Assignment Submission Format, and Overview of Program Tools. Students must have access to a stable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer. All instructional sessions will be recorded, and assignments will be introduced and explained during the lessons.
Weeks 2-5
Focused learning based on core topics (Recycling, Infrastructure, Biodiversity, Agriculture, etc.)
Week 6
Final Showcase – Group Presentations and Reflections
Capstone Project
Each team will submit a Sustainability Action Plan and present it at the Global Virtual Showcase. Projects will be evaluated based on:
- Innovation & Feasibility
- Cultural Relevance
- Environmental Impact
- Team Collaboration One of the project themes may include addressing the Sargassum seaweed crisis in Barbados—evaluating its environmental and economic impact and proposing youth-led action plans for local solutions.
